Dark Science is our new limited blend, which wasn't supposed to happen.

Shadow Boxer and Sweet Science got combined in the process of making our Drip Bags. By the time we realised... every single one of them, was labelled 'Sweet Science.' Whoops.

But then we tasted it, and it was good. Not just 'good for a mistake,' but really good. And it makes sense - it's still two of our favourite blends, still roasted just as well, just combined. So the bags might say 'Sweet Science,' but this is Dark Science. A delicious accidental blend that won't be around for long.

How to Brew

Tear: Rip along the dotted line to open the filter.
Hang: Pull the paper handles out and hook them over your cup.
Pour: Slowly pour hot water (approx 94°C) through the coffee until your cup is full (approx 200ml).
Enjoy: Sit back, sip, and enjoy your brew!

What are Drip Bags?

Drip Bags are single-serve pouches filled with freshly ground specialty coffee. Just tear, hang over your mug, pour hot water, and enjoy a filter style brew anywhere.

Are drip bags the same as instant coffee?

No. For starters, our Shadow Boxer Coffee Drip Bags actually taste good. They use real specialty coffee grounds, and brew like a rich and clean French-Press style coffee. No instant coffee here!

Does this make an espresso coffee?

We say that this is most comparable to a clean French Press style coffee. It's bold and rich, but not quite as intense as espresso.

Are drip bags as good as fresh beans?

Nothing beats brewing freshly ground coffee beans, but our Drip Bags get surprisingly close. They're packed with our Sweet Science specialty filter blend, then sealed immediately for freshness, and designed for an easy brew wherever you are.

How long do Drip Bags stay fresh?

Our bags are nitrogen flushed and sealed to lock in flavour. They'll taste excellent for up to 12 months.

Are your Drip Bags compostable or recyclable?

The outer box is recyclable, the outer sachet is recyclable via soft-plastic recycling, and the inner filter goes to general waste.
