Guatemala El Sol

Guatemala El Sol

Introducing Guatemala El Sol for Espresso. Big and rich. A milk chocolate body with sweet mulberries and purple grape acidity.

$23.00

Hand-picked only when perfectly ripe, El Sol’s cherries ferment for 24 hours in the pickers’ bags before drying whole on raised beds for 25 days. Grown at 1650 MASL on Finca El Rincón in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, this natural lot reflects the Vides family’s generations of dedication since 1958. The careful process yields a bold, expressive cup: a rich milk chocolate body balanced by sweet mulberries and the bright, juicy lift of purple grape acidity.

PRICING EXPLAINED

*This is the FOB (Free On Board) price: the price paid to the exporter before shipping, and which does not include shipping costs, weight loss (around 17%), storage and other charges. Ultimately, the FOB price represents the $ figure that stays in the coffee's country of origin, benefiting its producer, community, and beyond.

^This is the 'raw' price paid directly to the producer, and paid in the local currency for parchment coffee. The coffee is then milled and sorted before being placed in bags, ready for shipping.
