Peru Luis Beltran Filter

Luis Beltran has been in coffee for as long as he can remember. His parents moved from bustling Cusco city to enjoy a tranquil rural life and started a farm where he grew up. As soon as he was old enough, he started helping on the farm, considering each day as an opportunity to learn and improve.

In 1992, Luis took charge of the farm management and started a drive to further enhance the coffee’s quality. His efforts led to him being recognised as a coffee expert in the region, someone others seek for advice on their own farms.
Beltran lives with his wife Benedicta, and their sons Giovanni and Roberto. His sons have now taken on the more labour-intensive tasks of the farm, while Beltran supervises and ensures the maintenance of quality.
