Pink Bourbon: we’re loving this varietal. While its exact origin is unknown, Pink Bourbon is speculated to have originally been a varietal mutation occurring at an elevation of 2100 MASL in San Adolfo, Huila.

Both José Lizardo and Wilson Alba have been growing Pink Bourbon for the last few years with some incredible results. This particular varietal seems to have settled beautifully into the microclimate surrounding their farms. Recent improvements on the farmers’ respective land have included planting more shade trees which has helped lower soil temperatures, stop erosion and improve the quality of coffees produced.
