Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Brejetuba region, Sitio Sossego benefits from a favourable climate and incredibly fertile soils. Paired with the skills of producer Paulo Mauro de Paula, the most exceptional of specialty coffees is born.

PRODUCER PAULO DE PAULA AND THE SITIO SOSSEGO FARM

Paulo's farm, spanning 37 acres, is a haven for coffee cultivation. Located at an altitude ranging from 1020 to 1180 MASL, the farm benefits from

the optimal climate and terrain. However, it’s Paulo's dedication and humble approach that sets him apart from other producers operating in similar climates.

With careful attention to detail and a commitment to traditional farming practices, Paulo has cultivated a solid reputation for delivering exceptional coffee beans. His selection of varietals (including Catuai 81, Catuai 69, Catuai 144 and Catucai 785) adds depth and complexity to his beans with truly enchanting tasting notes that dance on the palate. This coffee must be tasted to be believed!

PRICING EXPLAINED

 *This is the FOB (Free On Board) price: the price paid to the exporter before shipping, and which does not include shipping costs, weight loss (around 17%), storage and other charges. Ultimately, the FOB price represents the $ figure that stays in the coffee's country of origin, benefiting its producer, community, and beyond. 

^This is the 'raw' price paid directly to the producer, and paid in the local currency for parchment coffee. The coffee is then milled and sorted before being placed in bags, ready for shipping.
