ABOUT
This 100% Ethiosar varietal lot is made up of a single day’s pickings from seven farms in Caranavi, all owned by the wonderful Rodríguez family. Found at elevations between 1400-1800 MASL, the farms have been tirelessly worked by Pedro Rodríguez and his family over the last decade.
Pedro began his journey in coffee by working with small producers in Caranavi, building a wet mill to process their coffee and educating producers to selectively handpick their cherries. He also started processing small micro-lots from each of the producers. Because of the unique combination of heirloom varieties, rich soil and incredibly high elevations, the results were outstanding - and are here for you to enjoy today!
What’s extraordinary about this beautiful Bolivian coffee is that the family behind it has dedicated their lives to expanding the market for Bolivian speciality coffee. Of course, this benefits not only the many generations of the Rodríguez family to come, but also the hundreds of local farmers who now better recognise the potential of their land and coffee crops.
