Great coffee and good for growers

The Sweet Science filter blend has been my daily driver all year. Loving it even more after upgrading my batch brewer. Even better their transparency means I can enjoy great coffee guilt free knowing the growers are getting a fairer share.

Sweet Science filter blend

First time trying this juicy fliter blend. It’s light with the balance of little lime and roasted almond (I guess it’s similar to chocolate as described). It’s lighter and less darker/sharper than my other filter blend but it’s easy to drink as daily base. Delivery was exceptionally fast, good follow and services. Will buy again in the future for next seasonal combo!

I’ve been enjoying the Sweet Science Filter Blend daily now for just over a month.
I have been drinking filter coffee (black) exclusively for over 6 years now. Of all the blends and single origins I have had to date this blend is my favorite. It has a medium boldness in flavor, easy to drink, and is equally delicious HOT or COLD. Will continue to drink this for the foreseeable future.

Sweet Science is a specialty filter roast blend. It's sweet and smooth and designed to showcase the lighter side of coffee. It's roasted lighter than espresso blends, to highlight complex flavours. We think Sweet Science Filter Blend is the perfect everyday filter coffee. It's smooth, sweet, with notes of milk chocolate, and subtle fruit flavours.

You can, and some do add a dash of milk, but here at the roastery we prefer drinking Sweet Science without milk. It's not the best coffee if you're making milk based coffees like lattes or flat whites. For those, we recommend an espresso blend.

Sweet Science was made for filter brewing methods, like Pour-Over, Aeropress, Moccamaster or batch brew. The lighter roast lets subtle flavours shine, so these more gentle brewing methods work best.

Filter coffee is roasted lighter than espresso. Espresso is more concentrated, but filter coffee often actually contains more caffeine! Strength wise, filter coffees tend to taste lighter than espresso roasts, and are sweeter and more nuanced.
